On November 2, 2026, PCI Technology (PCITECH) participated in Hong Kong FinTech Week × StartmeupHK 2026 at the organizers’ invitation. Henry Huang, Vice President and General Manager of the Public Affairs Center at PCITECH, represented the company in the panel discussion “Reshaping Urban Mobility Ecosystems: From Smart Ground to Low-Altitude Flight.” He shared PCITECH’s experience in smart transportation and international expansion, offering insights into the low-altitude economy, integrated urban mobility, and the global expansion of Chinese technology companies.

Discussing the low-altitude economy, Huang drew on PCITECH’s more than two decades of experience in smart transportation. He noted that urban rail transit and ground public transportation form the foundation of today’s urban transportation systems, while low-altitude mobility opens up new possibilities. As technology advances and applications expand, low-altitude transportation could complement ground and underground networks, helping ease congestion and create a more diverse, three-dimensional urban mobility system.

On the global expansion of Chinese technology companies, Huang emphasized that going global means more than developing overseas business and implementing projects. It also involves bringing abroad the mature supply chains and technology ecosystems built in China over many years. Companies should leverage China's strengths in technology and supply chains, deepen collaboration with local partners, and invest in local talent to build long-term capabilities to serve regional markets.

In recent years, PCITECH has advanced its international expansion with Hong Kong and Singapore as key hubs. PCITECH has established its Hong Kong R&D Center at Hong Kong Science Park and formed a joint venture with a local partner in Singapore to create a regional marketing platform supporting expansion into Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and other targeting markets. By connecting R&D with market development, PCITECH continues to align China’s established technologies and supply chain resources with overseas demand.

The forum provided an opportunity for PCITECH to exchange insights with industry partners on smart transportation innovation and international expansion. Looking ahead, PCITECH will continue to deepen technological innovation and international collaboration, explore new applications for integrated urban mobility, and bring China’s smart transportation technologies and solutions to broader global markets.
